Now Available: The Bourgault VOS Opener System — Exclusively at Dale Drills
Most of our customers know us for low-disturbance drilling with our standard, 12mm wide tungsten tipped tine, in either 12.5cm (5”) or 25cm (10”) centres, and that remains at the heart of what we do. But not everyone wants to drill in narrow rows — some growers prefer to place seed in bands, particularly when the tines are in the 25cm (10”) configuration.
So, we’ve made it possible. We’re pleased to introduce an optional tine holder, available exclusively through Dale Drills, engineered to accept the full Bourgault Tillage Tools VOS range. It fits in place of the standard Dale seed tine and opens the door to band drilling on a Dale machine — with one holder and five Bourgault points to choose from.
That’s the real appeal here: choice. Whether you want a narrow point for minimal disturbance or a wider banded opener to spread seed across the row, you can set the drill up to suit how you like to work and what your crops, soils and seasons demand.
