MTD – Mounted Tine Drill:

Our MTD (Mounted Tine Drill) is ideal for wet weather drilling, due to its narrow tines, light weight, low hp requirement and simple design. A 6m MTD can be used behind a relatively lightweight 170hp tractor, reducing the risk of compaction. The MTD’s simple design, with just a simple covering harrow behind the tines ensures its ability to establish crops when many drills would not be able to travel. Depth setting wheels on the MTD are positioned in front of the tines to avoid them travelling on the stickier disturbed soil and ensuring they keep free from soil and continue to turn.
